I made an "experiment" with a few DVDs:
1) Rip the first Chapter of a movie with smartripper, demux audio and video, put into Maestro, compile it
2) Same with a chapter from the middle of the movie
(Both regardless which delay the ac3 brings with itself)
Result:
1) Delay: 0
2) Delay: -40
Everytime I do this with a chapter from within the movie, I get a delay of -40 after compiling, the first chapter results always in delay 0.
Can someone explain the effect? Has it to do with that the ac3 stream from a middle chapter is somewhat "broken" between video frames and is rounded up by a frame?
