remove region settings

i have tried to copy a few region 1 dvds qand remove the region so they are region free but when i go to play them my dvd wont play them but my pc will how can i sort this so it plays on my dvd

what program are you using to remove the region coding?

cause if the program removes all regions (rather than make it support all regions), that would be the problem.
