This is actually happening in a couple different ways. Divx5 always kinda played back in layers in WMP, it would start kinda with a lot of solid colors, then in a few seconds go normal, and at the same time enabling smoothing. Every other type of AVI file, would play for a few seconds, then I'd see smoothing layer over. Now however it just isn't happening. I've tried installing different driver versions and whatnot but nothing works. Everything else that uses this smoothing still does, IE The Divx Player. WMP doesn't on anything avi/asf/wmv though. Whats up with this?
