I've been using DVD Decrypter to burn everything, and it's always worked fine. I upgraded my DVR-104's firmware to 1.31 to be able to use more 2X media, and then it started burning 1X Riteks at 2X. Well, these things come out pretty badly. They get a big stripe in the middle of the disc, and the later chapters won't play. Even the DVR-104 has trouble reading them.

So, all I want to do is burn my 1X media at 1X, but DVD Decrypter doesn't let me select what speed to burn at.

I tried re-flashing to the 1.20 BIOS, but that doesn't work. Besides, there's no real reason I should have to downgrade my BIOS to be able to burn at 1X.

I've tried burning in Maestro, but it doesn't even think I have a burner. How has everybody gotten Maestro to burn?

Nero lets me burn 1X, but I've seen so many people complaining about Nero making incompatible DVD's that there's no way I'm using that.

I just want to be able to burn my images at 1X.

Burning just fine with Prassi now... It would be convenient if DVD Decrypter worked right, though.
