Hi guys! Great site, great forum! On to the question...
Is there anybody who owns a Philips DVD762 standalone (or 752, methinks their hardware is the same)? What CDR and CDRW brands have you tested it with and which have worked for you?
I've ripped my share of XVID movies and lately I thought I'd give DVD2SVCD a try 'cause I'd like to see for myself what this SVCD is all about(on my 29" 100Hz Sony). Followed the guides to the letter but it seems that my standalone doesn't like specific CDRW brands. So far I've tried Verbatim and Creation CDRW disks, at 1x,2x and 4x burn speed.
I would appreciate any feedback, thank you in advance!
