Ive used GKnot for a long time, and recently i updated to 2.6.1 or whatever. I noticed a bug or something, When I have the project opened and I move the slider near the credits, when I then use my arrows on my keyboard to get right to the start of the credits, GKnot freezes/crashes on me, the only way I can do a credits start thing (to encode them seperatly and append them) is to use just the slider which makes it a pain and not correct, Im gonna go back to 2.6 now and see if that helps.
Btw, Im on WinXP, AMD 1ghz 396mb ram

Hi-
Why aren't you using the arrows above the slider to zero in on the first end credit frame?

yea, i know this problem - it's very old.
i tried to fix it a couple of times, but i still don't know what causes the crash. i never wrote a single line of code to activate the arrow keys on the keyboard. must be some strange dephi or windows problem i can't track down...
workaround: don't use the keyboard. :)

the reason why am using keyboard instead of mouse is because keyboard is a lot more accurate (can move a single frame - some movies have a frame where everything suddenly go blank, which would be the starting of end credits). strange thing is that i didn't experience this problem before. the only difference between my system now and before is i installed the windows media player security update. that's about it. i still wonder why i did it since i never used wmp
anyway, one advice i can give u guys: don't try to fix if it doesn't break...cheers!

Using the mouse you can adjust by 1 frame or by 10 frames in either direction.

You probably missed reading this when it was posted above, but THE ARROW KEYS DIRECTLY ABOVE THE SLIDER BAR to PRECISELY FIND THE FRAME OF CREDITS START. The button that has ONE arrow, moves it ONE frame. The button that has TWO arrows, moves it TEN frames. Hope this helps!
