DVDr works on HDD until I burn it ?????

I have backed up my region 1 monsters inc. it plays fine off the Hard disk. but then if I burn it to dvdr (prassi) and try it in either of my standalones (Pioneer 535 & 444) it wont play. So I put the dvdr in my computer and try to play the disk like before from the HDD and it wont play there either.

any ideas???

Ok brief steps I did are as follows. ( i have done others in the past no probs)

ripped seperate pgcs with dvd decrypter (there was 2)
1 was tiny so left it alone
the other I dvd2avi(vfapi plugin & forced film), vfapi, encoded with cce, pulldown
re authored with scenarist (drop frame)
ifoupdate inc vts sectors

played in powerdvd on comp no probs, played through ifoedit no probs.

burnt to disk with prassi

burnt disk wont work in standalone on in comp :(

Did you correct VTS sector with Ifoupdate or Ifoedit "GET_VTS" Action ?

Which media do you use ?
What is the first play command (JUMPSS_VTSM gives me problem on my sony player for example) ?
And what is the error you get from your player ? No disk, HWD error with an error code, pixelisation, freezing ?
Also try Gear DVD Pro, Nero 5.5.8.2 as it helps sometime.

thnx but I found a work around. If I create a disk image from IFOedit and burn that in Prassi the disks work mint. (anyone know why)
