Is any way transfer Digital video from Sony D8 ( or Sony DV) to SVCD ?
I get still bad picture - motion on gras or water - much, very much worse, than picture converted from DVD to SVCD. (With DVD2SVCD -section AVI2SVCD + CCE )
How I must sets DVD2SVCD ? Is any way for it or DV and its cos. transf. is wrong for transformation to MPEG?
Can somebody helps me ?

Hmm, you won't get the same quality as with the DV source, mainly because standard SVCD bitrate is too low.
How long is your video? Do you use max. SVCD bitrate (~ 2.500 kbps CBR)? What's your audio bitrate? Which settings do you use?

You dont understand me.
When I make SVCD file from DVD , quality is very well. But when I make SVCD from DV (same bitrate as for DVD2SVCD), quality is always very bad!
I think, there must by some specific settings or DV is not good for transfering to MPEG2 ?

If the dv video is homeshot then it could be because of shaky camera - something that's rarer in retail dvds, at least in movies - so more bitrate is needed to have decent quality.

Ok, looks like you need some filtering. Low light DV shots usually have a lot of noise, and if there's enough light you often get a very sharp picture which doesn't compress well.
Try to filter your DV file using the Convolution3D AviSynth filter. That will help compressibility a lot, and thus will increase quality.

Most DVDs are pre-filtered (to assure good mpeg2 encoding) plus they are mostly not 4:3 fullscreen.
I'd also use convolution3d and maybe temporalsmoother (with a radius of 1 and before resizing). You can also activate the noise filter in CCE (strength 5-10).
