Hi all..i read that doom9 has a new subtitles guide for those who use scenarist and maestro ...i read it and have a little question regarding to setting the colors...

"now when the color screen appears we pick the appropriate output format according to what authoring program we'll be using. The screenshot shows how it should look when you select the Scenarist format. If we're using Maestro we should just select Maestro instead, the colors and the color order will already be properly set up."

How ever ..the colors on the left are different on mine then on the right when i select maestro........i get a tottally different color setting on the left ..should i change that so that it is exactly the same as the color settings on the right (as it is automatically set)??? ......or do i keep the left side as it is ..and just simply choose the authoring program setting.......i have tried the second one ...and i still have problems with PAL dvd's and subtitles.......Has anyone tried it yet with pal dvds

Greettzzz...

I wouldn't change anything in subrip.. I haven't used the functionality for Maestro myself but it works just fine for Scenarist.. and the author seems to be familiar with the Maestro format so hopefully he did that right. The guide doesn't hint that you have to change anything except selecting the correct output format, does it?

I've tried the Maestro output format and it works great. You have to make sure to load your palette in Maestro though! Read this step in the guide I made.
