This is the first problem I've had with Smartripper in ripping a DVD to my hard drive. And the movie is good will hunting. I don't know what it is with this DVD but around 56% it just stops and then my computer freezes. And this is the only dvd that has done this to me and I've been doing this for quite a while too so... anyways, just curious as to if this has happened to anyone else and what they did to stop it.
thanks.

Did you "unlock" the DVD by playing it with your prefered DVD-program before trying to rip it? Otherwise you could try that.

Do any of the BLOCK indicators on the right side of your SmartRipper screen go RED when it locks up? I'm at work right now, so i'm not sure exactly what the BLOCK indicators say, but I know there's three of them there.
If so, then there is an unreadable block on the DVD. Try using DVD Decryptor to get the VOBs.

Hey guys with another movie that the exact same thing that was happening and I used DVD Decrypter and it worked but with good will hunting neither process works with it. And at about 60% of the movie being done it comes up with this:
ASPI Command Error!
Device: [0:1:0] AOPEN 16XDVD-ROM/AMH
ASPI SRB Status: 0x04
Interpretation: SRB Completed With Error
Host Adapter Status: 0x00
Interpretation: Host Adapter Did Not Detect An Error
Target Status: 0x02
Interpretation: Check Condition
CDB: 28 00 00 1E DF 70 00 00 01 00
Interpretation: Read (10) - Sector: 2023280
Sense Area: F0 00 03 00 1E DF 70 0A 00 00 00 00 11 00
Interpretation: Unrecovered Read Error
And then it gives me that options of Abort, Retry, or Ignore Does anyone know what this means or why that Smartripper and DVD Decrypter can't rip this DVD.
Thanks guys.
