DivX 3.11A vs. Divx 5.02 Pro Decoding

I have these two codecs installed whow can I use the 3.11a codec to play movies encoded with it ,,, no matter what player I use the 5.02 decoder always decodes for me I tryed WMP 6.4 and bsplayer 0.85 last build
