I am currently looking at buying a flat 19" CRT to replace my current (curved) 19". I have been using a 15" LCD for the past year and have got used to having a completely flat screen, but want a CRT because the contrast on LCDs is still not really good enough for movies and they are too expensive.

I am looking at several possibilties of sub £300 monitors (nearer £250 ideally): The Iiyama Vision Master Pro 452/454, the CTX PR960F (or maybe the CTX EX960F - is it much worse?), and the LG 915FT Plus. Does anyone own one of these or know someone who does, or know where I could get some good reviews of them? I've done a search for reviews on google and they seem to be quite conflicting, though the CTX PR960F seems to have very good reviews generally - pricey though.

Any recommendations?

Im not sure if this helps any, but I have a 19' Trinitron Flat CRT monitor. I bouht it here in the US for 160$ at a computer show. The drivers show it to be a Dell P991, but since Trinitron is a SONY technology I don't mind if it says Dell
I must say that this was the best investment I ever made. I upgraded from a 13' and I find that it delivers a very nice and crisp image. Sorry but I don't know any of the other specs (dot-pitch), I just know that it works great and that i got it really cheap!

Edit:

I found this site with some info on the monitor
