CCE error during 1st pass

I have a DV type 2 file (already done a lot of encoding to MPEG4 using this file inside VirtualDub) and when I try to encode it to MPEG2 using CCE 2.5, I get this error and the 1st pass fail after about 16% is done.

ccd encoding failed: AVIStreamRead() failed (0x8004406d): A disk error occurred while reading the file.

Does anybody know what it means? I am sure that the DV file is not corrupted by now and still readable inside VirtualDub. I am using Win2K SP3+ 2x(P3 866)+ 256Mb ram.

CCE 2.50 has an input avi file size limit of 2 GB. Is your avi larger than that then this is your problem ;)

Use a 2.6x version instead or frameserve with virtual dub :)
