sorry to be a pain but i use to use re-mpeg so im not used to cce,all i want to do is create a dvd with the best possible picture quality i can,i dont have any menus or any extras just the main movie m2v and the ac3 or dts soundtrack,thats it.so how can i increase the size and quality of the m2v file using cce so its around 3.7gb.using the available guide the movie m2v comes in way to small around half the original size,this leaves loads of wasted space as the soundtrack is between 300 and 500mb......CHEERS.:confused:

increase the bitrate a fair bit then, as a guide 1hr @ 4mbit will be about 1.8gb.

((4/8)*60)*[Length of movie in minutes]

replace the 4 with a bitrate and you can work it out close enough

Are you not happy with the quality CCE produced?

I also was not happy with having about 1/2 the disc left. My solution is/was to try and put two movies on one disc.

Attempting that next.
