multichannel ac3 on tv

hey can some help me out... i just bought the sony dream theatre...anyway i hooked up my video from the comp to my tv with composite out from my card...and im trying to get the audio to be multichanneled...but when i connect it to the "audio 1" composite red and white plugs all i get is a 2 channel audio...im playing a rip with dd 5.1 ac3...does anyone know how to playback my audio from the 5.1 system im using for my dvd player?

you'll have to use either the spdif output on your soundcard or if you have a 6 channel soundcard you can connect it that way too... i'd go with the spdif. if you have non of them you'll just have to stick to prologic ;)
