dv type 2 audio extraction?

Hi everybody!

Reading the doom9 forum already helped me very much with DVD copying and my DVCamera. Thanks to everybody! Now I'd like to encode my DV (type2) to DivX, but I'd like to use Lame for audio encoding. Therefore I need the audio as a wav file. So:

How to extract the audio of a DV type 2 Video as a wave for Lame encoding?

I assume you have captured this to your Hard Disk as AVI. If so open the file in virtual dub then select file > save wav and hey presto youve saved the audio file.
