GKnot and new AviSynth versions

I think GKnot 0.26 comes with AviSynth 1.06.
Are there any serious changes of syntax in the newer revisions of AviSynth? Is 2.0.5 working with GKnot generated scripts?

I've used Avisynth 2.04 with Gordian Knot without any problems, but I can't say I noticed any difference in speed or anything. I'm sure there are bugfixes and new features, but they hardly affect the general Gordian Knot user.
