i have a sony dvd player and it plays my optodisc dvd-r's fine (i have black hawk down, top gun, etc.) but it has problems with every warner bros. disc i've burned. it plays the warner bros. logo and then stops after that.
at first i thought it was because i was burning with nero. all nero burned discs (dreamworks, paramount, basically anything) work on my standalone but not on my xbox. once i burned with dvd decrypter or recordnow max they worked on my xbox. but it seems no matter what program i use to burn, my sony player does not play dvd-r's of warner bros. movies. does anyone have any advice or is this a known problem?

i'm thinking of ripping out the WB copyright logo while preserving the main menu and movie, if possible. can someone tell me how to rip out the copyright logo if after using VOBrator i see that its in VTS_03_1.VOB?
if i simply remove all the VTS_03 those files or strip all the VOBs in VTS_03 i get an illegal navigation error. is there another way to make it so it never looks for VTS_03 in the first place? in the VIDEO_TS file i stripped all VOBIDs except the last one (like in the doom9 guide). thanks

AFTER YOU FIND OUT WHICH VOBID IT IS JUST USE IFO EDIT THEN VOB EXTRAS AND UNCHECK ONLY THE VOBID THAT IS THE LOGO KEEP THE CHECKS ON THE OTHERS AND LET IFOEDIT DO THE REST GOD I LOVE THAT PROGRAM

warner bros movies always have multiple PGC's under the main movie title. So on Collateral Damage for instance...pgc1 is the warner bros logo, pgc2 is the main movie, pgc3 is the movie with commentary playing, pgc4..etc,etc. i would think you could load the main movie IFO file in IFOEdit and choose the pgc you want to get rid of and choose 'delete playback'. that wouldn't actually rip it out, but would cause it not to play.
if you are planning on remastering and re-encoding your movie, when you create the scenartist project, you could insert a black screen for any of the warnings/logo pgcs.
the newest IFOEdit guide deals with wb movies so you know.
