Hi all,

I have just purchased a Ge-force 4 64meg graphics card with TV-Out (S-VHS).

I have plugged this into my TV via the VCR using a Scart adapter, but the picture is in black and white!

Any ideas where I am going wrong please? I have searched forums, but can't find anything similar.

I am from the UK, and have set the output to PAL (UK).

Cheers!

Paul.

if your vcr is not svhs you have to use a composite cable otherwise the picture is b&w.
or plug it directly in the tv. (it has to support s-video input, otherwise the picture is also b&w)

Thankyou for the information.

I am going to buy a propper SVHS-Composite adapter now! I think this should solve the problem!

Thanks again!

the pins in s-video cables r small and easy to snap off!

I broke the colour one off my cable easy.....result b&w picture
or
most tv sets have 2 scart connectors on the back
1 wired for RGB, 1 wired for S-video
plug your SCART into the wrong connector and u get
b&w picture.........

Thanks for the replys everyone! I found a little option in the settings which said "SVHS Composite". The result - A composite picture through a SVHS cable!! Fantastic glorious colour now!!

Just got to figure out a way to disable macrovision now and im sorted!

Cheers!!
