As some of you may know, the latest nvidia drivers 40.41 enabled macrovision, and you couldn't watch a movie in a tv-out.
Well, i found out this in the nvnews forums. Hope it's usefull for someone besides me ;)
Hi there,
I had the same prob. Luckily I found it is easily fixed within the nview controls.
Using the new drivers, after enabling TV-Out, click on the "Overlay Controls" option on the side panel.
Here you can configure the Full screen video mirroring controls. To simply make the video play on your secondary screen (e.g. your television) select "Secondary Display" from the drop down menu underneath "Full Screen Device."
Click apply and the video (avi, mpeg etc.) should all play, regardless of whether the image is minimised or maximised on your primary display! No need for 3rd party junk, it's all there!
Hope this helps.

Kola
