CRC problem transcoding audio in besweet

[crayon_fuzz_warrior]

ok besweet is ticking along just nicely, but once it gets a way in, it stops and this entry appears in the log:
[00:19:45.184] E7: CRC error

so my audio file ends up being only 20 minutes long.
any ideas?
