gordian knott trouble

I need some help. When I first installed Gordian knott. I had trouble with the DivX I was doing. They all were only 255mb and poor quality no matter what I did. I finally uninstalled the gordian knott and reinstalled it and it worked perfect. For awhile. All of a sudden it went back to doing that same thing again. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it twice and it still gives me a small divx of poor quality. It's making my crazy right now. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this problem

you should post the version and upgrade versions you have installed, the order in which you installed them and specifics about your rips, ie settings and such. pick one short movie you wish to rip and try it, post it's minutes in length, the codec you wish to use and the settings you decide to run, also post the aspect ratio, pal or nstc and such.
