Does anyone know of a method that works?

I've tried using MODE 2 CD Maker and I can get it to successfully create an ISO image, which I burn to CDR using Nero but they end up being unreadable.

If anyone has any clue....please divulge!

well, I read thru that thread and it didn't say much about burning DIVX files in Mode 2 so we can fit 800mb on a CDR.

I guess I'll try using MODE 2 CD MAKER to create the bin, cue file and mount them using Daemon tools and then burn from there...hopefully it will work...kind of a lot of hoops to jump thru IMO but as long as I can find a way to back up my 700mb+ DIVX files that works, I'm happy.

I didn't realize that you were trying to put a 800mb divx on to cd. Here is a discussion about doing that. Pretty long reading:

Hope this one helps.

If you're really obsessed with size, you can burn it as audio, with no pesky space wasting things like the EDC and synch.

But as you're having problems with Mode 2, this is probably out of your league.

I posted some of my expeiences with mode2cd here

Unreadable cd's might be caused by quality problems. With the media and/or burner. If I use my liteon 40 speed burner, to make a mode2cd, it will only work on that drive. If I use my old trusty plextor 8 speed burner, it will work in any of my drives.
