AuthCall.exe failure

oh my -- help :)

I thought I ws past the N00b stage but I guess not.

Been using DVD2SVCD for a while w/ np

New machine, setting up as a ripper, d/l DVD2SVCD, installed CCE 2.5

opened dvd2svcd, went to conversion, click on disk to read DVD info and get:

AuthCall.exe has encountered a problem and must close (WinXP)

Dos window behind it says
D:\cant load ASPI
Drive authenticated for DOS
ASPI for NT/2000/Whistler
Found GetHTL

Close Dos window and dvd2svcd will have recognized the disc info and pops up sub window tht says:

Analyzing video...plese wait

and that is it---prog goes not responding and have to force closed

Have tried force ASPI -- no change

What ASPI layer (if any) do you have installed? I've read alot of people having trouble with anything other than the latest version of forceaspi. Using it cleared my troubles away anyhow. Very strange it didn't work on yours, try reinstalling the layer.

I must have screwed it up the 1st time.

I reran force ASPI and it worked... go figure:D
