Hello!

I made a movie which ended up at a size of 800 MB. Since I have an 800 MB medium (Platinum CD-R 90 min / 800 MB)I should be able to burn it.

I use the latest Nero version and run it on a Windows XP system.
When I start burning, nero says that the medium is too small (79:59 min) even though I set in the advanced settings maximum size to 90 min. If I burn anyway the cd fails burning the track. It is not readable later on.

Which program can I use to burn this file? Are there other settings which I must set to burn it with Nero?

unfortunatly,to be able to burn a 90min cd you need to have a cdwriter that can overburn to that amount.there's a bit more to it than that though.even if your writer does overburn (you have to enable it in nero under advanced options)the resulting cd may not playback very well if at all.a 90min cd is just a 80min cd able to write closer to the edge and this is very unreliable and not for important data!i would highly recommend sticking with 80min cdr's and using XCD with ogg audio for best quality.

Hi. Try making a mode2-cd using XCD which can be found here:

It worked very well for me since a mode2-cd is capable of storing 12-14% more of data.
