Okay this is driving me nuts!!!
Using DVD2SVCD to create 2 80min cds. I used crash recovery after a computer restart.

BBMPEG created the first muxed file, But after that dvd2svcd crashes so the 2nd muxed file is never created.

So, I figure I will just mux the 2nd mpg myself. The problem is trying to determine the length in seconds of the first muxed file so I can tell bbmpeg where to start with the 2nd muxed file. WINDVD and PowerDVD and Win Media player all show the 1st muxed file as 1:41 in length which is about 40 min or so too long. Is there is tool out there that shows the "true" length in seconds?

you could time it as it's playing ;) but if I were you, i'd rather try to find out why the program crashed in the first place, any ideas or clues why it crashed? :logfile:

It's possible that 1:41 is the true length of that file, whether it should be or not. As Pacohaas suggested, post your logfile. It's possible that the crash was in lieu of previous errors, and the oversized file is a clue to this.
