Hi,

I did a search on this but couldn't find anything.

I am trying to encode "Love & Basketball," and I noticed something very strange about it. You know how you are supposed to run the VOB files through Bitrate Viewer, right? Well, I did so and the weird thing is that some of the VOBs are "Top Field First: Yes" and some of them are "Top Field First: No."

How do I handle such a movie? By the way, someone claimed that the Top Field bug is still there, but I talked to DVD2SVCD and he said it's fixed. What's going on?

Thanks.

Talk of suicide isn't healthy for you or any readers, refrain from it. And bumping a post after only 4 hours is not nearly long enough to justify a bump. General rule of thumb states at least 2 days without response justifies a bump.

Why dont you just run DVD2SVCD and see what happens. I have niticed that with most things DVD2SVCD will pick the right settings to use and everything will be OK.

I claimed it, because it is still there. Do a search and find my post. Then read. What else can I say?
