Alba DVD108 Multi-Regional

I had a nice suprise over the weekend :D I bought an ALBA DVD108 player for the princely sum of £70.00 (GBP) only to find that it played region 1 discs as well as my region 2 (for the UK). I looked on the net and it seems that this player is multi-region out of the box !!!!!;)
So if anyone is looking for a cheap multi-region player - this is the one to go for. Good picture with many functions :devil:

If this is the one from Argos you can also play SVCD's with a remote trick. Put your SVCD in and as it's loading up press 'goto' then pres '1'. Should play it.
