I want to try out live-streaming real video.
I've got Helix Producer Plus 9 and Helix Server installed.

I was yet unable to send a stream from the producer
to the server which I can then access with the player
- the conficuration is confusing and complex.

Anyone has experience in it?

Thanx,
Hironimo

I searched further and now at least managed to get a stream from producer to server, but I can't access it by the player (in the error logfile it tells me "No handler for" when I seemingly managed to find the stream at "rtsp://<myip>/ramgen/broadcast/titanae".

Well, that's my job talking about (silly but it's one of my favorite Starship Troopers quote :))

I had the same while trying to . The fact is that i decided to use 2 cpus, one for the server and another one for encoding and playing.
I never managed to make all 3 parts work properly on the same cpu.

Oh, by the way, don't forget to check wich ports u are using for both streams .

The last thing i can tell is that u need to mind the ".rm" at the end of your stream in each step. (it doesn't appear in your "rtsp://<myip>/ramgen/broadcast/titanae".
