View Full Version : Flask and jittery movie endings

I am using FLask 0.6 preview 1.1 and DVD Decrypter 3.0.

Every now and then, the credits and sometimes the last few seconds of a movie will "jitter" after being encoded as an AVI with Flask. By jitter, I mean the movie will reverse for a second then play for a few seconds, repeating this until the end. It will happen with only the credits and sometimes into the last few seconds of the movie too.

This does not happen on the DVD itself. I haven't been able to predict what movies will do this. It seems random. It isn't enough to ruin watching the movie, but I would like to know if anyone else has encountered this. BTW I am using XP.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

try using flask subtitle fix with letterbox enable, this helps me most of the time; but not always.

Most likely the DVD has multiple languages, and the seperate languages are encoded in the credits as short clips (one for each language) one after the other..... Basically the different languages are interleaved in half second chunks.....

As mentioned a newer version of flask may solve this for you... Older versions don't understand the files properly.

oh right, i though he meant the jerky(ghost) the movement, instead of the multiple angle thing, just uses smartripper to decrypt any of your multi-angle dvd.
