How to enable dv out, or pass through on JVC DVL500

I have been tring to figure out how to enable pass through on my
jvc DVL500 digital camcorder. If anybody has some ideas on how to do this please let me know

Some dv cameras can be enabled by a "widget" which you connect to your camera , here in the uk you can buy them from jessops,just make sure that your camera is compatible as a lot are not.I know some jvc cameras are compatible.
