Just done a full copy of this (using the CCE IfoEdit guide), but there is a problem with DTS sound. When I select this from the menu I get the audio comentary instead. Is there a way I can edit the ifo files to point them to the right place, without having to start the whole project again (or a lot of it anyway)?
I've not burned this to disk yet, so it's just sitting on the hard drive.

Just looked at the new VOBs with vobrator and the DTS stream is mapped to AES 0x8A instead of 0x89 as it was on the original vob.
Think that might be pretty significant.
I saw something about something like this earlier on today, but have yet to track it down, so any ideas would be great.

Ok, sorted it.
I must have been tired last night as I put the secong and third audio streams in the wrong order in Scenarist.
I re-authored it this afternoon and everything seems fine.

Hi glimmerung.
I did the Mummy Returns at the weekend but when I authored the DTS track (in Maestro) the audio/video was asynch by about 0.5 sec. 5.1 channel was in synch so used that instead.
Did you experience the same problem?
BTW, I ripped the DTS track in Smartripper.

Cinephile,
I also ripped the DTS using smartripper. No problems with sync, though.
Once I sorted out the fact that I was putting the DTS stream in the wrong place everything went pretty smoothly. I've been playing with the DVD tonight and the only thing I can notice are a few small dropouts in sound on the DTS track, but they are very minor and may be on my original as I haven't played that yet since buying it. Don't know what the sync is like later on in the movie yet as I've only gone about twenty minutes in so far, but it's looking good.
I'm afraid I can't help with sorting your sync problem out either as I've not used maestro, only scenarist (and that only for a little while).
Try doing a search under DTS and Maestro, you never know, someone may know something. The problem rings a bell. I'm sure somebody posted something about async audio streams and Maestro, but I could be imagining it as I've read a hell of a lot of posts in the last two weeks.
If I come across anything I'll post the link back here.
Good luck.

cinefile,
Checkout this thread, it's a bit long winded, but it looks like there's a good tool for sorting out asynch problems.
Let us know if it helps fix your problem.

Link didn't work for me either.
Thx anyway HomerJ but from the URL it looks like it deals with .ac3 delays (which I know how to get around - AC3DelayCorrector, synch audio track etc.)
I was wondering about a DTS delay corrector or why it got screwed in the first place.
Search on these forums re DTS delay correctors yields no answers.
Does anyone know of a fix? :(

Sorry about that guys, I did a quick copy and paste on the url, and didn't spot it got truncated.
I won't look for it again if you don't think it will do you any good.
