pioneer dvr-104 region free

has anyone in uk who has brought a dvr-104/a04 tried the region free firmware update it didnt work 4 me im still locked on region 2 any help or info wouldnt go a miss thx.............

not in the UK, but in Norway - however the 1.20 regionfree firmware I found on the net works like a charm with my dvr-104.
