I'm buying myself a "scan-converter", or RBG to TV hardware. I know of 2 products; the Trust Televiewer and the Focus TView.

Are there more? Which one gives the best image quality for watching movies etc? The resolution really doesn't need to go higher than 800x600 (PAL), since I don't want to do any resizing of the image anyhow.

Anyone with experience?

why don't u but a display card with tv-out? tnt2 onwards and radeons should do the trick. and much cheaper than a scan converter imo.

Yeah, but I don't want two graphic cards in my system, and I want good picture quality ;) Plus, I don't want to buy a graphic card with TV-out chip everytime, and meddle with software and settings just to get it right.

I've heard that these should produce a much better image... was wondering if anyone had experiences...

The Trust one is like €/$ 70 w/o the remote.
