Using DVDStarter on a network

I make FULL file rips of my dvds and playback on WinDVD 4 on an XP pro HTPC. I use DVDStarter to list and load my movies into WinDVD. All of this is fine...except:

I am not able to get DVDStarter to load movies stored on mapped network drives, i.e. on a remote movie server.

Is anyone doing this successfully?
