error:vedio checksum is different from that of previous pass

This is the error message I got in the second pass. I'm about 5 minutes from the end....

any ideas? Do I have to start back at the beginning?

Eureka!

I have found the link to the patch for the checksum error and have installed the patch...thanks Paul!!

I'll let you know if it works and what are the results. Wondring now if problems may arise disabling the checksum error in the program....

I've not had any problems after installing the CRC patch - let's hope it's the same for you too..

Now I have another problem....
pulldown says it can't read the file. I changed it to .m2v

pulldown input.m2v output.m2v

any hints?? almost there....:(

Obvious question, is the material at 23.9fps or 29.9 fps? You don't apply pulldown on 29.9:)

starts out as 29 then reduced to 23 to be encoded, now suppose to go back to 29.

SpruceUp will not accept at this framerate. I tried....
