Well, well,
so did I.. But I've learned how to encode with CCE. There are some difficult passages in the guides (fullcopy guide and getting best out of CCE) but now I'm through.. And I must say I thought it would get harder, all that authoring stuff. Thanks to doom9, because if you have all the necessary guides from this site, it's okay learning authoring.. If you have the time, you're right..
And with CCE you can set the size of your DVD as you want it, too!
So try it out and let me know, how it's going on,
Tantab.

Tantabootsy,

Sounds like we're getting quite close. Doom9 really is the place to be. Loads and loads of information !! Sometimes too much !!

I have spent the past couple of months ( so my notes tell me) learning frm the board.

The guides do what they say, they "guide you". They often don't tell you "step by step", which I'm sure a lot of folk look for.

They are just a guide. They often describe in general terms, rather than specific term.

However, often the best way to learn is "the hard way" that is, make a few mistakes. That way you also understand better.
