I've never heard of a stabilizing filter for VDub, but there's a stand-alone (commercial but not too expensive) filter by Dynapel http://www.dynapel.com/private/sh_download.htm
The only VD filter I can think of that is intended for homevideo recordings is the anti-flicker filter by Donald Graft - but it is for de-flickering of old 8mm recordings, I think. Surely not needed for DV.

DigiStudio has one for $50. Check out the demo at http://ug6071.chinaw3.com/product.htm

I regret having ever bought the digistudio stabilizer. Lots of stability problems, artifacts, etc.
I now use a stand alone stabilizer by a German firm. (I'm not at my desktop computer so I can't check the name. I think it is Dynapel's).
