Hi guys,
Thank you for this great tool bringing justice to the DVD realm!
I've split succesfully with IfoEdit and burned with Prassi and A-103 "a number" of DVDs, but I'm still puzzled by several issues that appear at the burning stage.
1-Any structure dissected/recompiled by Ifo Edit is detected by Prassi 2, which refuses to burn; the log in Prassi marks it as "incorrect VIDEO_TS or AUDIO_TS formatting"
2-Prassi accepts to burn unconditionally the same compilations as Images from IfoEdit or Imgtool - but the capacity for each disk after image building seems -to me- UNDER the full capacity of the blanc DVD-Rs
3-I never encountered these problems after just cracking the DVD with SmartRip or DVDDecrypt and dumping everything in an ordinary VIDEO_TS (or even video-ts or Video-TS folder) UP TO 4.6 GB! Prassi would burn them without probs.
Why is that?
Are there some "basic" things I don't know yet (but Prassi knows)?
This issue remains for me the weakest point of my IfoEdit compillations, because the SPLIT POINTS I have to choose in DVD9s -if they would be accepted by Prassi as VIDEO_TS folders and not rebuilt as images- COULD BE completely different.
Several times I had to re-split time and again just to find the exact point where 2 images could be created without crashing ImgTools any of them.
And finally - on each disc there seemed to be plenty of space visibly left unburnt... :)
