Have you guys read about/or tried the new "InstantCD/DVD 6.5 - CD/DVD recording" from VOB?

"InstantVideo now offers its customers the possibility to copy his 9 GB DVD movies on 4 GB DVD, Super VideoCD and VideoCD. InstantVideo automatically converts the film into the right format and the right size considering the optimal quality."

question is does it just extract the whole movie (no extras) and reauthor it with basic (or custom) menu?

Just tried it.
You choose a title it reencode it to fit a DVD-R.

Usefull if you just want to back up a movie and know nothing about dvd9todvd5 and don't want to learn, but nothing really useful for any doom9 reader.

I let the PC run on this re-encoding task one hour, out of 20 estimated, becoz i had some real cce encoding to do :-)
So, i don't know for chapters, but you can bet that go away also.

Sorry guys, but I have just posted my experiences regarding VOB cd/dvd ver 6.5 in the DVD Burning Forum ( I thought that it is mainly a burning program (not sure now???) - totally useless - no even worse than useless - destructive towards Ifoedit. 'Warning Will Robinson, Warning'
