I just bought a HiPix (http://www.cellarcinemas.com/cgi-bin/store/HTPC-HDTV1-R.html) card and am thinking I made a mistake. I thought I would be able to use the HiPix to capture over-the-air HD tv as well as use the s-video in to capture from other sources like my cable box, a vcr, etc. Apparently the HiPix software does not provide for capturing analog sources (yet), and I find this particularly frustrating.
After reading this (http://www.digitalconnection.com/Products/Video/myhd.asp) I am thinking maybe I should return my HiPix and get the MyHD card instead.
Does anyone here have experience using either of these cards to capture HD and/or analog signals?
