View Full Version : audio async

Hi! I'm new to all of this (forum and encoding). I'm hoping that someone can help me with a very weird async problem. I've followed Doom9's Xvid guide to encode THE MUMMY RETURNS. The movie starts out fine, however; after awhile, the audio gets ahead of the video and things get worst. Here comes the weird part, if I click on the timeline in WMP6.4 (either backward or forward), everything is back to normal. This problem repeats later in the movie, and I have to do the same thing to fix it.

Can anyone please help me with this, or is the movie really cursed. Thanks in advance, and I'm sorry if I post this in the wrong room.

"Sounds like" a post-processing problem, not a problem with your .avi file, as your symptom wouldn't disappear when you changed position in the file with your player.

Try turning off post-processing options and setting those that can't turn off to minimum.

The only post-processing setting I have on is brightness and nothing else.
