View Full Version : Any good free firewire video capture program?

You see I have a DV Camera that have a i-link port so I could, connect my DV camera to my firewire card, but I cant seem to find any free good program that allow me to capture the video. Anyone knows what is a good free program?

EditStudio is not free, but the video capture proggie is free.

There is an older free version available.

The free scenalyzer version does not support capturing AFAIK, only splitting an already captured file by scenes. The commercial version can capture.

I use http://www.sonicfoundry.com/download/step2.asp?DID=259 (this) free cap-app from sonic foundry. Has worked great for me over the last 1.5 years.
