I'm sure someone will give you a better answer than I will, but it seems to be on all the DVDs I own.

You can't, the pause is caused by the player seeking on the disc to the beginning of the clip and is unavoidable.

hello,

thanks for your answer, a friend of me give the dvd for example of save the private... and the animate menu have a maybe a pause but it's very light and I think for authoring this dvd is use scenarist and I don't know how they do

If you have suggestie say it I think is there a solution maybe when I create the animation on another soft before you use it

thanks

OPTION 1
The video that you create for your menu and the transitions will all belong to the same file. Just create chapters (scenes) and set the button commands to jump to the corresponding PG/Cell. There will be an almost unnoticeable "pause" to transition.

OPTION 2
When you create your tracks in the Track Editor, create the menu track and transitions tracks as adjacent to eachother as you can.

When you create your PGC in the Scenario Editor, keep your transitions in the same PGC as the Menu that you want to transition from. This will keep the "pause" minimal.

Option 1 will give you the least amount of pause time.

Here is a picture of how to setup the tracks for Option 1 and 2. Note the difference between the way the tracks are setup. With Option 1, the MainMenu and the transitions are all within the same video file. Option 2, the MainMenu and the transitions are separate video files, but the tracks are created adjacent (one after another).

Regardless of the way you setup your tracks, the PGC Structure in your Scenario Editor will be created the same.

I've tried attaching an image, but it doesn't seem to be showing up.

attachements need to be authorised by a moderator before they are available, in other words a little bit of patience.
