I've read many posts on here and also Derrows guides (very good they are too)
just a questions if no one minds answering it :)
I ripped Jurassic Park 3 to my HD, and just want the movie only on the DVD-R, therefore I kept VTS_01_1.VOB, VTS_01_2.VOB, VTS_01_3.VOB, VTS_01_4.VOB and used Ifoedit .932 to generate the VIDEO_TS.IFO and VTS_01_0.IFO.
It works ok on my PC but not in my standalone player.
I've read in these forums that you require the (any) VIDEO_TS.VOB file.
Is this true and would this be the most likely reason for the film not playing in my standalone ?
If I do add a VIDEO_TS.VOB file, should I remake the IFO files and/or Get VTS sectors or will that mess up my current IFO files and make them point to a VIDEO_TS.VOB that might not be from the same movie ?
I have copied other DVDs with no problems but they have all managed to fit on a DVD-R without any stripping of menus etc. (small films with not many extras)
I rarely need to ask questions, but I'll only ask If I cant find the specific answer anywhere and since I'm a newbie to DVD burning I thought I'd ask the oldies
cheers
