Hi... I didn't know where to place this exactly, but since the problem is encountered in VirtualDub I first thought of posting in the VirtualDub section, but a friend told me to post it in here.
My problem:
When I edit my .d2v project in AviUtil, and I save it as .aup, I need to make a "fake avi" using VFAPI.
However, after the "fake avi" has been made, when I try to open it in VirtualDub, I get the following error:
Cannot determine filetype of <this is where the location of the file is placed>
How come?
I used the default settings in the "configurationscreen" u get when you've added a job to VFAPI.
What is making Virtualdub give this error?
BTW: If this is the wrong forum, can a mod please move this to the right section? Thnx in advance!
Edit:
After some checking out with my programs, I've found an alternative way to encode, by making a 1 pass quality based avi using AviUtil, instead of making an aup...
Bu I'd still like to know what I did wrong in VFAPI
