I get this error when trying to encode in GKNot.

EXCEPTION: List index out of bounds (3)
EXCEPTION: Encoder Thread Terminated.

This is wierd as it worked fine just two days ago. Can someone help?

Thanx

For some unknown reason, I have found both Gordian Knot and DivX 5.XX to be highly susceptable to corruption in one form or another. With Gordian Knot I've buttons being mysteriously greyed out to it refusing to carry out a Compression test and yes, had a few error messages too.. In all cases, uninstalling Gordian Knot and then re-installing it again has cured the problem, for me at least.

Nope Nothing is working. Please help me. i am dead without GKNOT. BTW here is the log. This is what i get with every encode. I still dont understand this thing. It was working fine 2 days ago. But I terminated an encoding in the middle. Is that the reason why this is happening? How do you uninstall GKNOT? I cant see it on my progams list in the control panel. So I just deleted the directory it was installed into. The reinstalled it. Is that the way.

I also found out that this is happening only with Divx3/nandub. Divx5 Encoding Works fine.

Then you are probably missing the DivX3.11 Alpha codec. Check from Control Panel:

Sounds and Multimedia (or Multimedia, depending on Windows release)
Hardware
Video Codecs

Look for "DivX ;-) Low Motion" and "DivX ;-) High Motion" codecs.

Or, you could give up and just re-install the codec from Doom9's download page.

By the way, to delete GKnot, not only should you delete the folder structure, but you should also remove Gknot registry entries. There's a check box to clear them on one of the Gknot tabs.

Man You are a LifeSaver :)

Thanx a ton. Actually I had the codec. But the tip to delete the registry entries worked.

Thanx again bro.
