invalid d2v project file

gknot is giving me "File is not a valid dvd2avi project (v1.76, YUV2)!"

i used smart ripper to rip a Resident Evil DVD to my HD

i'm using all software included in the gknot package. this has never happened before.

i tried re-installing gknot, after deleting it and removing all registry keys. i don't want to format just for this one thing :(
