hi guys and gals,

I'm trying to use dvd2avi to create a .d2v file for use in Gknot. The movie is Lord of the Rings and here's the audio info:

Stream[001] X=[[0xE0] Video NTSC 720x480] [] [] [] []
Stream[002] X=[[0x80] Audio English AC3(6Ch) 48kHz Normal Caption] [] [] [] []
Stream[003] X=[[0x81] Audio English AC3(2Ch) 48kHz Normal Caption] [] [] [] []
Stream[004] X=[[0x20] Subtitle English Normal Caption] [] [] [] []
Stream[005] X=[[0x21] Subtitle English Normal Caption] [] [] [] []
Stream[006] X=[[0x??] Others] [] [] [] []

I've tried a few times now and when dvd2avi is done, it does not leave me any audio file for Gknot to process... no ac3, wav or anything.

The movie is Film97%, 16:9. and 29.976fps, so I selected forced film, track 2 (and I've tried track 3), and demux (not demux all tracks). I'm just not getting any audio output for Gknot to use.

Any suggestions for this? It's not the first time this has happened for me and I just can't seem to figure it out... hopefully it's me doing something stupid.

Thanks,
Stanky

ok, I am an idiot. After all this checking, double checking and rechecking that I did everything right, I figured it had to be something stupid.

So I did a search of my HD for ac3 files and found the ac3 file had been saved to a different folder than the d2v file... who would have known.

Anyway, I figured it out, so feel free to delete this thread. Sorry to waste your valuable time.

Regards,
Stanky
