View Full Version : Crop MPEG-2 Video

Alright, here's the deal. I just used my Dazzle DVC-II to capture a VHS into MP2 format. And like nearly all VHS source, there's a few pixels of mess on the bottom and sides that needs to be cropped off. The bundled software provides no cropping features to use before producing the video, so what I need to know is what program I can use to crop an MPEG-2 video, without converting into another format first.

Already searched the forum, nothing seemed to apply...

Depends on what you want to create:
Easiest way to go is load mpeg2-stream with dvd2avi, and crop it with gknot afterwards, save it as avs-script. Converting with VDub to divx or whatever you like
Other way using bbmpeg to crop your mpeg2 files
